How many guests can stay at the lodge?

Southcombe Lodge can accommodate up to 66 people.

How many beds per room?

There are a total of 16 rooms. 12 rooms with 4 single beds (48), 1 room with 6 single beds (6), 1 room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds (4) and 2 rooms with 1 double bed, 2 single beds plus ensuite (8).

Is there separate rooms for boys and girls?

Rooms are not designated as male/female. However, schools can allocate these rooms as appropriate.

Is there separate rooms for teaching staff and adult helpers?

There are two ensuite bedrooms with a double bed and 2 single beds that would be suitable for teachers.

Is WiFi available at the Lodge?

No, unfortunately, WiFi is not currently available. However, it will be made available soon.

Is AV Equipment available or do we need to bring our own?

The lodge has a big screen TV and DVD along with HDMI cables are provided.

There is a large pull-down screen available in the dining area. However, you will need to bring along your own projector and other AV requirements.

Do students need to bring their own bedding?

The Lodge provides only mattresses. All students and guests must bring along their own bedding, pillow and bathroom towels, toiletries etc.

What toilets facilities does the lodge have?

There is a large amenities block with male and female toilets and showers attached to the Lodge. There’s an ‘all access’ bathroom available at the Lodge.

A large laundry is also available.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is 2.00pm Check-out is 10.00am but we can arrange early check-in and late check-out for you if bookings allow.
